There aren’t many septuagenarians who continue to inspire legions of style disciples. But then not every 70 year is Mick Jagger. Since the 60’s the original MJ has been defining and re-defining the rock star look, and his lithe figure complete with his famous snake hips – girlfriend L’Wren Scott recently admitted to Grazia that he still wears as 28’’ inch waist jean – has made his fashion choices appeal to both guys and gals.

Take Alexa Chung for example, who always referenced Jagger when asked about her personal style icons or Harry Styles who many compare both looks and style wise to the Rolling Stone frontman . Sartorially speaking Jagger’s look manages to semiotically  represent sex, drugs, rock ‘n’ roll, and therein lies the allure.
