Georgia May Jagger Returns As The Face Of Hudson Jeans For Second Season

Those Jaggers are a force to be reckoned with. While dad Mick winds downs his ’50 and Counting’ tour, youngest daughter Georgia has just been unveiled as the face of Hudson’s Autumn Winter 2013 campaign. This isn’t the first time that the 21-year-old has worked with the brand, back in May she appeared alongside her brother James and boyfriend Josh McLellan, who is James’s bandmate in the band Turbogeist, in a series of photographs set in cool locales around London, from Abbey Road Studios to Camden Market.

While still channeling GMJ’s rock ‘n’ roll heritage, the latest ads from Hudson are far more pared back, not least because they were shot in black and white. Ditching the urban backdrop in favour of a studio setting, the images were taken by photographer Sebastian Kim with art direction by Patrizio Micelli and the Al Dente agency. Georgia poses topless in a pair of Hudson jeans with her modesty covered up by a Union Jack flag and fringed scarf. In another shot she is joined by gorgeous Spanish model Jon Kortajarena who has previously worked with Karl Lagerfeld, Roberto Cavalli and Zara among others.

Ben Taverniti, Hudson’s creative director revealed: “We wanted to create a campaign that revolved around our brand mantra of “Let yourself go,” and [that] visually set the tone which we could build on, season after season. We chose black and white photography to start because of its minimally beautiful aesthetic and nature.”

Fans of Hudson and GMJ will have the chance to get involved in the campaign as the brand plan on asking Instagram followers to share photos of themselves “letting go”.

This is the second starring campaign that Georgia has bagged this month as she was recently revealed as one of faces of Miu Miu Autumn Winter 2013. For Miu Miu the model played on her doll-like qualities with her blonde hair poker straight, her skin porcelain perfect with her trademark gap-toothed pout in full view as she elegantly posed in a fabulous pink coat dress covered in black polka dots.

We’re super excited that on Thursday we’ll have the chance to meet GMJ in the flesh as she launches the Hudson campaign at the brand’s new store in the denim studio at Selfridges. Tweet us your questions with #AskGeorgia and we’ll put them to the Bardot-esque beauty – and check back here for the full interview later this week.
