How To Ditch Your Teen Girl Image Take A Tip From Selena Gomez & Co On Their Spring Breakers Tour
Posted on April 25, 2013 at 9:44 am
Spring Breakers is (as you might guess by the name) the story of four college kids gone wild who end up in jail on their spring break vacay. In the film Vanessa Hudgens, Selena Gomez, Ashley Benson and Rachel Korine run around teeny shorts, coloured hair, hi tops and itsy bikinis.
The four girls are currently on a whirlwind promo tour through Europe and they have all have sexed up their image for the premieres, experimenting with an, erm, OTT red carpet look. Think the Kardashians meets Strictly Come Dancing. Perhaps they’ve all been influenced by the ‘wild girl’ antics of their characters
They are clearly trying to distance themselves from their squeeky clean, Disney past. They seem to be going through that Britney Spears ‘wearing underwear as outerwear dancing with a snake around her shoulders trying to prove she’s not a girl’ phase. As Selena, Vanessa & co are quickly crossing off all the ‘sexy’ style rules.
Spring Breakers
Angelina leg slit Vanessa Hudgens flashed her upper thigh TWICE, most recently in a glitzy Julien Macdonald gown for the Madrid premiere in a bright red gown with mirror detailing, a high slit and metallic heels. There’s so much sparkle she looks ready for the Stictly Come Dancing final. Crop top Vanessa Hudgens nailed this sexy staple too, at the photo call in Madrid.
Selena Gomez did the suit with nada underneath thing to the premiere in Berlin in Versace. Ashley Benson has worn backless, gold sequins, look-at-me cleavage dresses AND black mesh. Not all at once though thankfully.
Take a look in the gallery above to see some textbook sexy red carpet style. There are sequins, feathers, gold strappy sandals, talon nails and blue eyeliner. Be warned don’t try them all at once…

EXCLUSIVE: ALICE By Temperley’s Youthful Take On Glamour For Autumn Winter 2013
Posted on March 14, 2013 at 9:52 am
After launching in 2009, ALICE by Temperley has flourished before our very eyes. Not just famous for that sell-out scarf seen on everyone from Emma Watson to Baby Blue Ivy, the Brit brand has expanded into the glitzy eveningwear and full-length gowns that its big sister, Temperley London, is famous for. Yes, ALICE has gone gorgeously glam on us and we likey.
Take a look at the exclusive sneak preview of the Autumn Winter 2013 collection in the gallery above and you’ll see what we mean. The new ALICE collection was inspired by Marchesa Luisa Casati – the Italian heiress who astounded Europe with her eccentricity, so expect sheer sexiness courtesy of Art Nouveau prints on opulent fabrics and long silhouettes with cinched waistlines that emphasise your curves.
Our picks You have to see the Long Luisa dress with form-fitting lace layered over silk. We’ve also got our eye on the luxurious printed Long Olympia dress as well as the transparent spot tulle Long Celia dress, which adds a sexy edge to the classic style.
New Muse: Marchesa Luisa Casati
As for Alice’s favourite pieces for Autumn Winter, she’s opting for the long dresses perfect for an evening soiree. ‘It’s important for a woman to create more reasons to dress up, that’s what makes fashion fun and fantasy,’ she tells us. ‘This season we have used delicate embellishment, beautiful lace and ethereal silhouettes and re worked them in typical ALICE style for a youthful take on glamour.’
There’s also a dash of tailoring thanks to the military-styled Collette flared coat in sumptuous imitation fur and the Regina coat in coral, which wouldn’t look a miss on a be-bumped Kate Middleton. ALICE’s key signature, leather, also reappears for Autumn on the butter-soft Mini Giovanni dress with suede panels and the Giovanni jacket, which combines tough leather tailoring with a fluid peplum shape.
ALICE By Temperley’s AW13 collection is available to buy in stores and online from July – just in time for the arrival of a certain royal baby. What Baby Blue doesn’t get to have ALL the fun.
