Posted on February 3, 2014 at 7:24 am

Following in the wake of their London Collections: Men debut, New York based label Rag & Bone took to the streets of the big city for their forthcoming Autumn Winter 2013 campaign – the first which includes their menswear campaign. Captured by legendary photographer Glen Luchford, the candid shots feature Hollywood fast risers Lea Seydoux and Michael Pitt and Grazia Daily has an array of exclusive behind the scenes shots for you to feast your eyes on.

Following in the vein of the effortlessly laid-back cool the label have become well known and loved for, Lea and Michael were reportedly not given any direction for the shoot: “We wanted it to feel quite raw,” David Neville, one half of the duo told Dazed. “The premise was simply them in rag & bone doing whatever came naturally.

Pitt, who fronts the brand’s first menswear campaign even went so far as to smash his own guitar during the shoot. “He just turned up with it on set and at the end of the day smashed it up on the street. He said something to the effect that it was his gift to the shoot,” revealed Marcus Wainwright, the brand’s managing partner.

“For us, it’s all about using individuals we view as iconic characters and Léa and Michael absolutely represent the spirit of the brand,” he added. “They’re both genuine, cool people.”

Neville agreed: “They both have confidence and couldn’t care less about what other people think – attractive traits in both sexes.” And don’t they look dashing.

Kate Moss Tells Allure Magazine Her Daughter Lila Is Obsessed With The Devil Wears Prada

Posted on February 1, 2014 at 1:35 pm

Mossy, Mossy, Mossy, oh how we love it when you do a bit of talking. Yep, the one and only supermodel Kate Moss has recently completed a new interview with Allure Magazine (the accompanying shoot, naturally, looks amazing) in which she imparts her wisdom on how often to wash your hair to what tan lines are appropriate. Here’s eight news things we’ve learnt about Ms Moss courtesy of Allure…

1. Sometimes the headlines do effect her…

Speaking of the claims which rocked the early part of her career that she was anorexic and taking heroin Kate said, ‘It was horrible, especially the anorexic thing. The heroin, I was like, ‘Oh, it’s ridiculous. I know I don’t do heroin. Just because I wear a bit of black eyeliner that’s smudged….’ But the anorexic thing was a lot more upsetting, to be held responsible for somebody’s illness. I wasn’t anorexic.’

2. She is always professional…

‘At a shoot, I’m really aware of everything,’ Kate explained, ‘When they do makeup, sometimes I can’t see what they’re doing, but I can feel it. I know what I look like, even when I can’t see what they’ve done. I know how to compose myself.’

 3. You wouldn’t catch her dead in a twinset…

‘I try and be a little bit chic. I wouldn’t wear sweatpants. I wouldn’t wear a twinset,’ Kate said, going on to explain her fashion philosophy, ‘With confidence, I think anyone can get a dress and make it their own. I don’t think you should have it off the runway and wear it like they want you to wear it. You know, with their hair and makeup—their woman. I just think it’s boring. You have to make it your own. That’s what fashion is all about.’

4. She once wanted a boob (or as she calls it ‘tit’) job…

Kate said, ‘I didn’t like my flat chest. I was like, ‘Oh, I’m going to have a tit job.’ Can you imagine,’ adding. ‘I used to be so scared about ‘Oh, I don’t want to show my body.’ Now that I’ve shown it, it doesn’t bug me about my moles, or ‘This isn’t big enough’ and ‘That’s not smooth enough.’

5. Her daughter is obsessed with The Devil Wears Prada

Kate revealed that Lila Grace had watched the film ten times, ‘She’s got a desk in her room with a phone…. She puts a little outfit on and picks up the phone: ‘Hello, Miranda Priestly’s office. Can you hold Patrick Demarchelier on the line!’ I died when I heard her do it. So funny. She doesn’t have a clue who it is, but it’s word for word. She wants to be Anne Hathaway.’ We’re with you Lila.

6. Jamie Hince loves her white bum…

In case you were wondering what Kate’s husband Jamie Hince thinks about her tan lines, Kate said, ‘I don’t mind a bikini bottom. My husband likes lines on the bum—men like white bums, like a frame. I don’t do it on the boobs, though—I try not to have a white boob.’

7. She sticks to a simple beauty regime…

Kate describes her make up look as, ‘a bit of blusher—what you call bronzer—a bit of an eye, and an eyelash curler.’ And as for her hair, ‘I use that Moroccanoil stuff, and then I blow-dry it upside down and brush it. Maybe I’ll give it a back-comb at the top. Always clean hair. That’s a must. If in doubt, wash it.’

8. She’s not aware of just how famous she is…

Kate said of her fame, ‘Everyone’s a celebrity. But I’m kind of a celebrity now, so even though I’m not an actress, people know my name. I’m not just a face.’ Kind of a celebrity Only one of the biggest on the planet, we say!

Jennifer Garner Is The Latest Actress To Land An Autumn Winter 2013 Campaign

Jennifer Garner in new Max Mara campaign

‘Alias’ star Jennifer Garner has just been unveiled as the face of Max Mara, making her the first celebrity to star in an ad campaign for the brand.

Garner, set to front Max Mara’s new handbag line and hot new accessory, the J bag, was selected with a view toward appealing to different types of women. “Jennifer Garner is a real woman, not a cover girl, not a starlet,” Luigi Maramotti, chairman of the brand, told WWD.

“She has different interests, a family and values… She is a real woman and embodies the Max Mara woman. She perfectly reflects our image,” he added.

Garner agrees: “Max Mara is perfect for my lifestyle,” she said. “The brand possesses a classic, timeless elegance and a quality of craftmanship that is luxe and yet so easy to wear.”

The campaign, shot by Mario Sorrenti, features five different images, three for fall 2013 and two for spring 2014. Images are set to break in magazines such as Vogue and Elle in September.

The actress is far from the only famous face set to appear on our autumn/winter 2013 billboards. Julianne Moore and Nicole Kidman were just this month announced as the faces of Reed Krakoff and Jimmy Choo. Instagram Pics Of The Day: Coleen Rooney, Miranda Kerr, Gisele Bundchen And Rachel Zoe Share Adorable Photos Of Their Kids

Posted on January 28, 2014 at 6:59 pm

Here’s something to brighten up your Tuesday lunchtime – if the sun just isn’t enough – adorable photos of celebrity kids, which the stars have posted on social media. Coleen Rooney is obviously super proud of her boys Kai and Klay and who can blame her as the pair look so cute in matching pirate pajamas in two photos that the wife of footballer Wayne tweeted yesterday. The first picture shows the boys lying side by side wide awake, but by the second snap three-year-old Kai has nodded off to sleep next to his brother, two-month-old Klay who was born in May. Both boys also sported miniature eye patches around their necks and pirate swords and belts printed onto their PJs.

It doesn’t stop there though as super stylist Rachel Zoe also shared a photo of herself with two-year-old son Skyler. The pic shows the angelic, curly haired chap wearing a straw fedora and denim jacket as he leans over to give his mum a kiss. All together now: “Awwww”. Skyler may be a chic toddler, but he’s got competition in the shape of Miranda Kerr’s son Flynn who the model photographed hanging out in a striped tee, leather cap, jeans and Converse.

Meanwhile supermodel turned actress Agyness Deyn has revealed how she keeps her energy levels up on the set of her new movie electricity. The star tweeted a pic of herself sunbathing in the garden and cradling nakd bars with the caption, “My new obsession #nakd bars #workfuel #glutenwheatdairyfree @nakd_wholefoods”. Agy suffers from food allergies and keeps her diet free from gluten, wheat, dairy and sugar, so we imagine she’s a pain at a dinner party!

Fashion Jury: Rosamund Pike Rates Her Best Red Carpet Dresses From Dior To Gucci

Posted on January 26, 2014 at 9:02 am

As we reported earlier this week, Rosamund Pike has turned her hand to designing, creating a handbag line for high-street hero, L.K. Bennett. Grazia Daily got a sneak preview of the actress’ creations at a swanky showcase and we can assure you they’re divine. But as well as talking all things bags, we couldn’t miss the opportunity to discuss Rosamund’s red carpet style that goes from strength to strength.

‘You’re always thinking ‘Am I going to get slaughtered by the critics’,’ the actress told us of choosing what to wear for swanky occasions. And yet she never wants to play it safe. ‘I want to give something for people to debate over. I’d rather cause a storm than people just say it’s ok.’

So forget the critics, how does she rate some of her greatest looks Let’s play fashion jury!

1. DIOR FOR THE VANITY FAIR OSCARS PARTY – FEBRUARY 2013

‘I was going to the Dior couture show in Paris and went to the show room to pick a coat to wear. Then I saw this and asked if I could try it on. I just fell in love with it. I thought, “I’ve got to think of somewhere I can wear this to”. Then I wasn’t in any way connected to the Oscars because I wasn’t in a film that was nominated so I didn’t want to wear anything that looked like I was trying to steal anyone else’s show. This was so easy to put on so I didn’t have to spend a lot of time getting ready.

‘You always have to keep track of who’s wearing what and an actress who I didn’t know had already worn it in Spain. But I just thought, “I don’t care, I just want to wear this so much!” Funnily enough, it was someone seeing me in this outfit that made them think of me for one of the films I’ve just done. You don’t know why you pick something but for some reason, for some director, this look embodied their character. There is this symbiosis.’

2. GUCCI FOR THE VENICE FILM FESTIVAL – SEPTEMBER 2010

‘You have more of an opportunity at the film festival to look more glam. The film I was promoting was called Barney’s Version and my character has to age so I wanted to make sure that when I went on the red carpet, I looked young and glamorous. The only thing I would change about that look I wouldn’t do hair extensions, but I went for the mermaid look and I wanted to cover the shoulders. Whenever I do hair extensions, I usually regret them.’

3. ALEXANDER MCQUEEN FOR THE BAFTA AWARDS

‘Technically, this is the kind of colour I should never wear, but a very skilful make-up artist helped me out. I was presenting so it’s about trying to look like you haven’t tried too hard. If I’m there for a reason and it’s my premiere, I’m fine with going all out and saying this is my moment. But when it’s not my moment, I want to feel relaxed. This dress has a summery, beachy vibe with beachy hair.’

4. ALEXANDER MCQUEEN FOR JACK REACHER PREMIERE

‘Oh, this one’s amazing! I had a completely different dress lined up but on the morning, the McQueen team came to my house with this and I fell in love with it. I’d seen it at the show but I didn’t think we were going to get it. It was January in London and this dress was just such a big splash of colour. I do dress for myself and I picture the mood of the fans of the film. If it’s a film premiere, I think about what they might like to see, especially if they’ve been waiting for ages. There are not many opportunities to wear something like that.’
