Jennifer Aniston will go down in history as the best tressed star in Hollywood. ‘The Rachel,’ the 90s bouncy bob she sported in the first two seasons of Friends, is one of the most copied hairstyles of all time. But Jen was not a fan of the square crop as she later said: ‘How do I say this I think it was the ugliest haircut I’ve ever seen. What I really want to know is, how did that thing have legs Let’s just say I’m not a fan of short, layered cuts on me personally, so I don’t love revisiting that particular era.’ Wow those are some strong words from Jen.

Back in the 90s Jen experimented with bouncy curls, beach waves and even tried out faux dreads to the 1999 Emmy Awards (a look we’re happy to report she never dared to repeat). She’s experimented with sleek bobs and long flowing waves, but she now sticks to a glossy blow dry. As for her Californian golden highlights, her colourist Michael Canale describes her signature colour as ‘a caramelized blond with three signature highlights in sandy—almost beige—tones, to bring out her eye colour.’
