She’s surely the sexiest woman alive and after being continually wowed by her recent red carpet appearances (to promote her new film Beneath The Pines) we feel the need to indulge ourselves in an Eva love fest. Sometimes the week’s just all roll into one, but for us, the clue that we’ve arrived back at the beginning again is your #ManicureMonday tweets. This week some of our entries have been desperate to invoke the spirit of spring with @isobelmeg, @_lynnie_, @Sophs999 and @MissDigiNails all producing floral designs. It doesn’t look like the weather is going to take note so we’re grateful for the sky blue nail art tweeted by @ginchesters.

Other highlights include @Biancapal12’s tortoise shell manicure, which gives a nod to old school Hollywood starlets, and a fluro design by @nailcollective.

First they were just rumours and we were scared to believe them, but now we’ve had it confirmed that those rumours afloat were ture. You’ll be thrilled to hear that the one and only Gwyneth Paltrow is set to launch a, wait for it… blow dry bar, next month, on 4th April to be exact. Yup, the uber-healthy yummy mummy who can basically do anything – cook, write, sing, act, you name it – is now venturing into the hair world, according to US Cosmopolitan.

As the story goes, Gwynnie is teaming up with long term trainer Tracy Anderson as well as hairstylist David Babaii to open a blow dry bar in LA which will be just a stone’s throw from Anderson’s new Brentwood studio. Ah, now we get it – nip in for a workout and scoot off for a blow dry after. Clever thinking.

Talking of this exciting collaboration, Anderson said: “We are so excited to have partnered with David Babaii on the blow dry bar that we’ll be offering to members of our flagship studio located in Brentwood, CA. As our members transform themselves into the women and men they want to be in the studio, the David Babaii team will design a hairstyle customized for their face shape and lifestyle, as well as a product regime of what to use to keep them looking their best while they’re on the go.”

Pretty cool huh Just a shame that it’s over in LaLa land and not on British soil. But that’s not to say they won’t open a bar in Blighty too in the near future. In tribute to this really quite wonderful news, we’ve picked out our fave of Gwynnie’s glossy blow dries…
