Louise’s skin is always seriously glowing
Less Is More- “I usually just apply a quick coat of mascara, a touch of my Golden Skin Glow, £21, to make me feel a bit healthier, followed by a dab of By Terry Lip Balm, £35. It’s usually all I have time for in the school car park!”
Don’t be Afraid To Skip Foundation- “I don’t use foundation as I find it too heavy, so the Wild about Beauty Sheer Glow Moisture Tint, £22, is perfect as it achieves just the right amount of coverage. The formula is hydrating and lightweight so it doesn’t feel like you’re wearing any product at all.”
She Loves Chantecaille- “I love Chantecaille’s products, the Gel Liner, £28, is easy to apply and the colour is really wearable.”
It’s All About A Light Fragrance Come Summer Days- “I’m not a fan of very heavy perfumes, Burberry Body Tender, £62, suits me perfectly as it’s feminine and light, which is great for summer. And Q Body sprays, £2.29, are great to have by you on busy days – I use them to freshen up after a pilates class or in between meetings.”
There’s always time for some TLC- “After a long day I love nothing more than to unwind in a warm bath. The ESPA Soothing Bath Oil, £13.25, is so relaxing – even after the most hectic day! I then finish with the Sunday Riley Disrobe Body Lotion, £55. It is incredibly moisturising and leaves my skin feeling silky smooth- I can’t live without it!”

If, like us, you love a good high-street beauty bargain, then we’ve got quite a treat in store for you. Last week, we were lucky enough to grab the gorgeous Nicola Kilner, Boot’s very own Beauty Innovations Manager, to find out the exciting treats lurking in her make-up bag…
When it comes to the latest beauty finds, Nicola really is your go-to girl. Her job is to hunt down the hottest, newest innovations in the beauty world and bring them straight to a Boots near you for Latest Finds! Jealous, us Maybe just a little… With such a wealth of beauty knowledge and exciting new launches under her belt, we just couldn’t wait to find out the products this blonde beauty cannot live without. Read on and learn, ladies…
Benefit They’re Real Mascara, £19.50
It has a plastic spiky brush allowing you to get great length and build up as much volume as desired without clumping. Great at achieving a natural day look, and you can easily add a couple of more coats for a stunning night eye.
Super Facialist Dark Circles Eye Cream, £12.99
This is a great pick me up – particularly on tired or jetlagged eyes. It contains light diffusers for instant effects as well as Vitamin C for long term seriously bright eyes.
No7 CC Cream, £14.95
I am such a fan of the BB/CC cream trend. I have found CC creams tend to have more colour coverage than BBs which makes them a great daytime alternative to foundation. Since using them I have noticed a great improvement in my skin. I love the No7 coverage and the fact it has 5* UVA protection means I know I am ready whatever the weather.
Estee Lauder Pure Colour Blush, £25
This blusher just lasts and lasts – the pigmentation is so strong a tiny dab really goes a long way. Someone once told me if you go down from the centre of your eye and put a slight sweep starting there out towards your temple it really gives you a healthy glow. It is a sheer blush so you can build up the perfect colour for you.
Rapid Lash, £39.99
Since this launched 3 years ago I have been a super loyal fan. It really makes your eyelashes so long and luscious – I always get compliments! It is an initial investment but one bottle lasts a good few months and you save a fortune on mascara and eyelashes! I have recently started using Rapid Brow too since Cara and her power brows seem to have taken over the world!
Seventeen Tattoo Me Eyeliner, £4.99
Semi-permanent liquid eyeliner that really doesn’t budge! It is perfect if you do your make up in the morning and still need it looking great at night – and it sure won’t budge in this heatwave too!!
Vichy Idealia Serum, £29.50
The best make up is great skin! I am a little in love with the new Vichy Idealia serum. It has been proven to transform the appearance of skin affected by life – stress, fatigue, pollution, UV exposure, an unbalanced diet, etc. It makes my skin look instantly fresh and radiant as well as minimising my pores and evening out skin tone. Makes whatever I put on top look great!
Benefit Hoola Powder, £23.50
This has been a staple in my make up bag for years. It is great to find a matte bronzer as I like to apply my shimmer separately. It is a great all over powder and also works well to have a go at contouring!

FIRST LOOK: The Campaign For Marc Jacobs’ New Beauty Collection Is Here!
Posted on January 22, 2014 at 10:26 am
Ooh the interwebs have been awash with excitement ever since Marc Jacobs first announced his foray into beauty territory some few months ago, and now the ad campaigns for the products have emerged and, as predicted, they’re gorge.
The American fashion designer debuted a handful of products from the forthcoming line on Sephora.com a few days ago, causing an equally as predictable stampede. Not a single speckle of eyeshadow or a smudgen of lipstick left. But! One of the ads from the line’s autumn winter ad campaign, featuring model Edie Campbell and Ondrian Hardin have just been unveiled.
The ads see Campbell sporting a blue-and-purple smoky eye that we’re dying to know how to apply, while Hardin sparkles in gold shadow and one of the line’s most-buzzed-about products; the black eyeliner. All magnificently bold; would we expect anything less from the fabulous designer
Back in May MJ exclusively gave Grazia Daily a hint at what we could expect: “The Magic Marc’er Precision Pen Eye Liner is the deepest, glossiest, blackest black on the market and the Style Eye-Con No.7 palettes are each and all perfect for creating the character one feels like showing the world on any given day or night.” Evident in the ad campaign, deffo.
We rounded up the ten things you need to know about the products set to be unleashed on August 9.

Posted on January 20, 2014 at 1:48 pm
It seems like an age since we’ve been swooning over Mila Kunis’ stunning beauty- it’s safe to say that we are in the midst of a serious beauty crush here, ladies, and by golly, does the girl have good hair or what Over the years Mila really has proved herself to be quite the hairstyle chameleon- whilst her colour hasn’t changed too drastically, always a sultry chocolately brunette hue, it’s clear her mane has seen more winning styles than we’ve had hot dinners.
Born in the Ukraine (which might explain the gorgeous exotic beauty), Mila has appeared in some of our favourite blockbusters, including Friends With Benefits, Black Swan, Date Night and Forgetting Sarah Marshall, to name a few. But what has remained constant over her impressive career is that down-to-earth, natural beauty which has had us green with envy, well, for a long time!
With a classically round face and soft angelic features, the 29-year-old actress is fortunate in that she can get away with pretty much any kind of hairstyle. Whether it’s beachy-texture, slick ponytails, sleek side partings, faux bobs or a high-volume blow-dry, it’s safe to say that when it comes to Mila’s hair, we are smitten!
Click through our gallery to see Mila’s best hair moments. Take note of her winning smoky-eyes, too…
