There are many stereotypes when it comes to the fashion world. The classic little black dress for the ladies, the jeans and white shirted look for the guys. In fashion we call that the James Dean look. These cliches and classic looks also apply to bad looks as well though. I’m talking about things like the MC Hammer cargo pants; you know the ones I mean. Chances are if you were alive during the 80s you saw people wearing them, or owned some yourself.

One of the classic, enduring images of fashion, though, has always been a negative one. That look is specifically one for the gents out there to sympathise with, and the ladies out there to roll your eyes at. Socks and sandals. It’s something of a practical look; the comfort and relaxation of the sandal, but the warm and practicality of the sock. Oh no, I need to stop talking about it. It’s starting to make too much sense!
